Floyd County Police Honor Fallen Officer
Officers made their way to the nation's capital to honor one of their own.
The officers will attend Thursday's National Peace Officer's Memorial Day Service.
The service honors police officers killed in the line of duty- like former Floyd County Police Officer, Frank Denzinger. Denzinger's name will be read and engraved on the "Walls of Remembrance" at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. Denzinger was shot and killed last June on a domestic disturbance call. His partner, Officer Joel White, was also shot, but has recovered.
