ABOUT US
Indiana 9 is WVHF-TV Class A, FCC licensed broadcast television station with transmitter and antenna located in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.  Our broadcast signal can be viewed on Channel 9 with an indoor or outdoor antenna connected directly to your TV set.  We are presently transmitting in Standard Definition or analog format.  In the near future we will switch to the new HDTV or High Definition format.   This will greatly improve the picture and sound quality of Indiana 9 and will enable us to add up to 4 additional channels within channel 9.  Indiana 9 is available on Insight basic cable channel 98 in Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott and Washington counties.  Indiana 9 is owned and operated locally by Dominion Media, Incorporated, an Indiana corporation.

To bring Hoosiers in Southern Indiana the best local, regional and state wide news, weather, sports, information and classic family entertainment.  Indiana 9 is dedicated to developing community awareness through our locally produced programs.  

NEWSCENTER 9
Newscenter 9 is our flagship program. Weeknights from 7-10 PM we deliver news that is focused on the issues and events that effect Hoosiers.  Veterans Greg Wilson and Kerry Phillips anchor the newscast, bringing Hoosiers local, State, National and International news.  The Newscenter 9 newsroom selects the stories that are about Indiana and for its residents.  Our reporters bring you up to date information on many of the stories that are not covered by other stations in the metro Lousiville market.  Newscenter 9 is fast becoming a local favorite on the air and on the Internet.  Over 4000 visitors are watching our newscast every month on our Website and growing fast. 

INDIANA 9 PROGRAMMING
Indiana 9 offers a variety of programs first run programs like First Business, Your New Home and Hometime.  We also bring classic programs like Andy Griffith, Burns and Allen and hundreds of legendary movies.  We bring you Indiana shows and features like Inside Indiana Business with Gerry Dick, Discover Purdue and the complete IHSAA State Tournament schedule LIVE from Indianapolis.  Indiana 9 is purposed to cover the Local events in and around the great State of Indiana.  We pledge to deliver Hoosiers the best available programming!
